Open Positions

Licensed Principal Engineer, Remote | Full-Time

Desired Locations: LA, GA, SC, AL, Northern FL
Status: Full-Time, Comprehensive Benefits Package

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required. Master’s degree preferred.
  • P.E. license required.
  • Minimum eight (8) years engineering experience and three (3) years forensic experience required. 
  • Experience working with law firms and insurance companies required. 
  • Deposition and expert testimony experience preferred.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities for this position:

  • Provide residential and commercial site investigations to determine cause and origin of structural failure.
  • Investigate and assess damages due to catastrophes such as storm damage, hurricanes, and floods.
  • Provide signed and sealed detailed reports outlining cause and origin of damage to clients.
  • Manage multiple projects and assumes responsibility for project execution within budget and on time.
  • Research technical publications and literature in support of evaluations.
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to other Engineers.
  • Review work of Senior and Staff Engineers and Engineering Intern(s).
  • Communicate directly with clients regarding project status.
  • Market Engineering Services when not directly working on a job.
  • Travel for site investigations
  • Ability to perform physical work in various environmental conditions, including post-catastrophe sites, while using appropriate PPE.

  • Adhere to the Company Drug Free Workplace Policy and successfully complete pre-employment and random drug screenings.
  • Successfully complete background-screening processes, including criminal, social security verification, credit history, workers’ compensation, and MVR screenings.
  • Applicant possess a Valid Driver’s License

Licensed Electrical Engineer, Remote | Full-Time 

Desired Locations: Florida (Power Option) or Southern Georgia 
Status: Full-Time, Comprehensive Benefits Package

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited university is required.
  • P.E. License Required.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in electrical engineering required.
  • Experience in failure analysis or related field preferred.
  • Experience with electrical codes (NEC, Florida Building Code) preferred.
  • PLC and relay logic experience preferred.
  • Transformer design and maintenance experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of marine vessel electrical systems is a plus.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and techniques preferred. 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities for this position:

  • Assist in conducting site investigations of electrical failures, including low and high-voltage systems, batteries, shock and electrocution incidents, fires, and explosions.
  • Analyze electrical systems, components, and wiring to determine root cause and contributing factors, including design flaws, installation issues, and code violations.
  • Collaborate with fire investigators and other engineering experts to assess complex incidents.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools, simulations, and calculations to evaluate electrical and battery system failures.
  • Evaluate compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and engineering best practices.
  • Prepare clear, detailed technical reports outlining investigative findings using the scientific method.
  • Develop visual aids such as diagrams, schematics, and photographic documentation to support conclusions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of investigations, analyses, and results.
  • Assist in preparing for and participating in legal proceedings, including depositions, arbitration, and court testimony as an expert witness.
  • Present technical findings to non-technical audiences in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Support legal teams by reviewing evidence and providing technical insight.
  • Assist in advising clients on installation practices, code compliance, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure all work complies with applicable codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Identify safety violations or improper practices contributing to system failures or incidents.
  • Travel for site investigations

Client Services Manager, Remote | Full-Time

Desired Locations: Northeast/Mid-Atlantic Metros (excluding NY)
Status: Full-Time, Comprehensive Benefits Package

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in business development, marketing, and/or outside sales
  • Direct experience selling engineering and/or related professional services to the insurance and/or legal industry strongly preferred.
  • Existing relationships with insurance adjusters required 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities for this position:

  • Develop and manage business relationships with existing and prospective industry clients at the executive and adjuster level.
  • Maintain business relationships with existing clients to ensure the lines of communication are always open; maintain communication with clients to ensure that they are completely satisfied with our product and service.
  • Set up and attend meetings to meet with existing and /or prospective industry clients with the intent to generate business for the company.
  • Create lead generation and engage in customer retention activities in accordance with the Company marketing strategy.
  • Conduct market research and customer surveys to assess demand, brand positioning and awareness.
  • Make outbound marketing calls and field inbound calls and enter data directly into the contact management system; track contacts and organize calls, including documenting all calls, follow-ups, mailings and meeting information in the database on a daily basis.
  • Identify new avenues of business through needs communicated by clients.
  • Research and develop agenda and budget for Company events to propose to the Executive Leadership Team for approval. Events may include, but are not limited to: conferences, conventions, trade shows, meetings, seminars and continuing education presentations. Coordinate with sales and marketing team to plan events including accommodation and transportation for participants, facilities, catering, signage, displays, and printing of event materials.  Organize and track registration of event participants (ROI).
  • Set and attend marketing consultations, industry functions, association meetings, and trade shows with prospective clients and follow up within the marketing protocol.
